Subsidy and Benifit
Many parents have primary concerns when it comes to their child’s childcare and early learning costs, that is why we have all the information on hand to assist you. BC Government provides two types of funding: Fee reduction initiative and Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB), both benefits work together to lower the costs of childcare fees for families.
Fee reduction initiative (CCFRI)
CCFRI for participating childcare centres is up to $350 a month per child. Effective December 1, 2022, it will be further reduced parents’ monthly fees by up to $900 per month per child. Parents do not need to apply, it will be applied by us and reduced from your monthly fees directly.
Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB)
The Affordable Child Care Benefit is a monthly payment to help eligible families with the cost of child care. Factors like income, family size, and type of care determine how much support families can get. Families need to renew their application every year.
